Spring events…and more upcycling action

Read on to find out more about our upcoming in-person events….and to get a feel for the delights of upcycling…..

Transformations

It’s satisfying to turn a piece of clothing, no longer wanted, into a much-wanted Bledsoe Bag!

We find you need to let the piece sit a while until it speaks to you, telling you what kind of bag it wants to be. Or bags!

Sometimes it’s a skirt made of fabric that’s too crazy for a skirt but just right for a bag….

Or sometimes it’s a lovely textured cushion cover…

…that wants to pair with the skirt and become a basket!

Now you tell us…what do these beauties want to turn into?

And an update on Bledsoe Bags in person this spring…..

We have a few in-person events coming up this spring, so do stop by and say hi to us if you’re nearby:

Sunday 20 March, Hammersmith, London –
Zero Emissions Arts Market

London’s first zero-emissions market. All stalls and materials will be delivered with zero-emissions and all stallholders will be supported by Parcels not Pollution, Hammersmith’s zero-emissions delivery service. This is a wonderful initiative to lower emissions and boost support for local makers.

Saturday 9 April, Fulham, London –
Spring Open Day, Couture Collective

Come and meet the creatives who make up Fulham’s friendliest collective, sit and chat, see our workspaces.

Saturday and Sunday, 23 and 24 April, Inman Park, Atlanta –
Inman Park Arts Festival

This is our first time at this curated two-day arts festival in one of Atlanta’s oldest and most scenic neighbourhoods, home to many historic homes and parks. The Festival began in the early 1970s as a means to attract attention to gentrification efforts that sought to revitalise the community.

We’ll also be having a trunk show in Columbia, MO, on Saturday 30 April, for all our supporters there. Contact us for details of this.

And of course you can come and see us in our workshop in Fulham.

We can’t wait to see you again!
